july 2018 upgrades

Our team has put together a huge update for the site this month just in time for the new launch of Cardano (ADA) on the platform. This July 2018 upgrade focuses on additional security features as well as some new functions and optimisations. We will highlight some of these below.

Security Updates

Checking and Terminating Sessions

Now you can have more options in controlling your user sessions and any session on your account. You can now see all your active sessions on the “Accounts” page under the “Sessions” tab.

If you see a suspicious or unnecessary session and want to close them, you can either:

  • Click “Terminate” for the specific session or;

  • Click “Terminate all other sessions” to close them all including your current one.

Auto Two Factor Authorisation Validation during Log In

To save you time, we added Auto Two Factor Authorisation Validation for a faster secure login. When you input the authorisation code, the system checks it and logs into your account as soon as you type in the last digit allowing you to trade as soon as possible.

Functionality Upgrades

Digests – Get Regular Trading Reports

Know more about what is happening on the exchange using the new Digests feature.

Digests allow you to get a report with a summary of your trading information via email. To get started, open the “Settings” tab on the “Accounts” page, choose from the different Digest options and click “Submit”.

The digest has three options:

  • Daily
  • Once per 3 days
  • Weekly

The report will be sent as per your option and show the following information.

Total of:

  • Deposits
  • Withdrawals
  • Buys
  • Sells

Check out how the digest will look below:

Now you can have this information at a glance straight from your emails!

Potential balances in the account

When you place a trade, the amount you specified will be taken out of your balance onto the open order until the trade has been completed. “My Balance” on the “Accounts” page dashboard has new columns which let you know which funds are in orders and the potential balances will be if the orders are closed or matched. These new money forecasts should make it clearer where your money is and what your balances will be.

The new columns show the following:

Funds in orders: The amount of currency in open orders which have not closed or matched.

If all orders are closed: If you cancel all orders, this will be the amount on the balance.

If all orders are matched: If all the orders are fulfilled, this will be the amount on the balance.

Optimisations

Page loading optimisation

We are constantly developing software to improve the loading speed for the platform.  In this update, we have optimised page loading so it is even faster all across the board. Please, enjoy!
